Thanksgiving Tip of the Day

One sugary holiday favorite that is included during the meal instead of desert is cranberry sauce.  One serving size of cranberry sauce is ¼ cup, or about the size of a gold ball.  This sweet treat contains approximately 105 calories, and isn’t even counted as desert!  To get all the cranberry goodness without all the sugar filled calories, grab a bowl of cranberry salad instead.  An additional alternative to get your cranberry fix is sugar-free cranberry Jell-O, which has a mere 10 calories per 1 cup serving!
