Thanksgiving Tip of the Day

If you are going to go back for seconds on Thanksgiving, you might as well make it seconds on salad!  While salad is a much safer option than corn bread or potatoes, it can be unhealthy if you load too much salad dressing or too many unhealthy toppings on it, such as croutons.  In fact, one serving of salad could have as much as 100-150 calories, depending on the dressing. Try sticking to vinaigrette-based dressings, rather than the creamy ranch and Caesar dressings.  To be extra healthy, try adding herbs and spices instead of dressing to boost the flavor without boosting calories!
