Tip of the Day

In preparation for Thanksgiving, we will be sending out Thanksgiving themed Tips of the Day until Thanksgiving Day!

One important and easy way to keep your Thanksgiving calorie count low while still feeling full is to fill up your plate with tons of low-calorie, nutrient dense vegetables.  Before you eat anything else, load up your plate with healthy cooked veggies to diminish your appetite, and keep you from overeating the foods that are chock full of calories.  One half cup of vegetables is about the size of a rounded handful, load up on those handfuls of vegetables!
