Tip of the Day

Prioritize your sleep. Sleep is when the body does its repair work, builds muscle, and shuts down our brain for a time. Sleep is usually the only time when we are not spending the majority of our internal energy digesting food and this allows our self healing mechanism to function at full force. You may think skimping on sleep by working late hours is increasing your productivity, but alas, it’s just the opposite. Without sufficient sleep you are not going to function at your true potential. You won’t process information as fast or as clear and your muscles won’t grow as well as they should. Also, you won’t be as creative and you will age faster. Be smart. Sleep.
