Tip of the Day

When you wake up in the morning your body is still in detoxification mode. While we sleep in a fasted state the body can devote its energy to cleaning out the cells and doing its repair work.

This is crucial because the majority of the time we are awake, the bulk of our internal energy is required for digestion (which takes more energy than other activity).

When we rise we want to continue to assist our body in removing the toxins and poisons that it has been in the process of expelling. Pure clean water is the biggest help we can give it. Drinking a good amount of water before breakfast has been shown to give you an abundance of benefits. Take advantage of this precious time. Remember what we do when we wake sets the pace for the rest of the day. Keeping your body hydrated will assist in removing toxins, delivering nutrients, keeping our body and mind flexible and many other important aspects of daily life.
